Refund & Cancellation
Overview
ScrollNetwork Digital Academy offers paid courses priced in KRW. This policy explains eligibility for refunds and cancellations under the Republic of Korea’s consumer protection framework, including the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
Cooling-Off Period
For online distance contracts, you may cancel within seven days of purchase without stating a reason, provided you have not accessed substantial course materials (defined as more than one module or downloadable lab pack). Request cancellation in writing to billing@scroll-network.digital.
Full Refund Conditions
Full refunds apply when: we cancel a cohort; technical failure on our side prevents access for more than seventy-two consecutive hours after start; or you cancel within the cooling-off period without consuming substantial materials.
Partial Refunds
If you withdraw after the cooling-off period but before the midpoint of the course schedule, you may receive a partial refund minus an administrative fee of 10% and the value of mentor sessions already delivered, calculated pro-rata.
Non-Refundable Items
Third-party certification exam fees, separately purchased tool licenses, completed mentor review sessions, and digital downloads marked as non-refundable at purchase are excluded from refunds.
Refund Process
Email billing@scroll-network.digital with your enrollment ID, legal name, and reason. We confirm receipt within three business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within fourteen business days, subject to card issuer timelines.
Cohort Cancellation by Learner
You may transfer to a later cohort once per enrollment if seats are available, instead of refunding, when requested at least fourteen days before your cohort start. Transfers are subject to price differences if tuition changed.
Exceptions and Disputes
Force majeure events may delay cohorts; you may choose a transfer or refund if rescheduling is not acceptable. Unresolved disputes may be referred to the Korea Consumer Agency or other applicable dispute resolution bodies under Korean law.
